Part-time Social Media Content Creator (Hybrid + 1 day/week in-office) — Crazy Richard’s

Time commitment: 5–10 hours per week
Location: Primarily remote, with one in-office day per week for staff meetings and collaboration (day/time coordinated with the team).
Type: Part-time (hourly or contractor—flexible depending on the candidate)

Role overview

Crazy Richard’s is looking for a part-time social media content creator to help us grow and energize our presence across Instagram and Facebook, and to launch and build a new TikTok channel. This role is primarily focused on creating short-form video content and repeatable content series that highlight our products, recipes, brand values, and community.

We’ll provide product and brand direction; you’ll turn that into content that feels native to each platform and drives engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Create original content (primarily short-form video) for:
  • Instagram Reels
  • Facebook (Reels + posts)
  • TikTok (new channel build + ongoing posting)
  • Repurpose and repost content thoughtfully across platforms (formatting, captions, hashtags, timing).
  • Build a simple, consistent content cadence (weekly plan + posting schedule).
  • Spend limited time monitoring and responding to comments/DMs (community engagement), mostly the hour after posts go live to help drive traffic – but the majority of time focused on creating.
  • Coordinate weekly with the team during the in-office staff meeting (content ideas, priorities, upcoming promos, product focus).
  • Track basic performance (views, saves, shares, engagement) and share quick learnings on what’s working.

Creator/Influencer collaboration (optional add-on)

  • Explore and propose opportunities to engage external creators (UGC-style content, small paid collaborations, product seeding).
  • Help coordinate outreach and content requests if we decide to move forward (we can define budget and process together).

What we’ll provide

  • Crazy Richard’s product for filming and recipe development.
  • Brand guidance, priorities, and any upcoming campaign needs.
  • Access to existing brand assets (logos, basic guidelines, etc., as needed).
  • We will respond to ongoing comments and DMs on each platform.

Ideal candidate

  • Comfortable filming/editing short-form video (phone is fine) and understands what performs on Reels/TikTok.
  • Strong storytelling, pacing, and “hook” instincts.
  • Can work independently, meet weekly deadlines, and bring fresh ideas.
  • Familiar with basic tools like CapCut, Adobe Express, Canva, or native platform editors.
  • Bonus: experience with food/beverage, wellness, or CPG brands; recipe or kitchen filming confidence.
